It should perhaps be noted that the British started terror bombing German civilians well before the Germans adopted such practice, and it greatly dismayed many in the American Air Corp to be ordered to join in this terrorism. Not to say that the Nazis were anything other than monsters, but rather to say that the “good guys” and “the Good War” weren't all that good.
